Fortinet, a prominent security solutions provider, has expanded its cybersecurity capabilities by acquiring Lacework, a cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP) powered by artificial intelligence.
This acquisition significantly bolsters Fortinet’s Security Fabric with cutting-edge cloud security features.
The deal also enriches Fortinet’s intellectual property portfolio by adding 225 patents, bringing the company’s total to over 1,800, and integrates Lacework’s seasoned sales and engineering teams into Fortinet’s operations.
