Cyberbit, a prominent player in cybersecurity training solutions, has secured a substantial new round of investment from its current backers, including Charlesbank Capital Partners, a distinguished firm specializing in middle-market private equity.
This investment signifies a transition to complete North American ownership and oversight, reinforcing the company’s financial stability for future growth and acquisitions.
Renowned for its cutting-edge cyber range technology that mimics real-world cyber threats, Cyberbit plans to utilize this new capital to advance its expansion and refine its product offerings.
Recently, Cyberbit has been concentrating on strategic development, appointing Caleb Barlow as CEO and shifting its global headquarters to the United States.
The newly acquired funds will bolster Cyberbit’s efforts to strengthen its foothold in North America and extend its reach into significant markets like Europe, the Middle East, and the Indo-Pacific. This expansion aligns with the company’s vision of providing state-of-the-art, highly realistic cybersecurity training solutions.
Caleb Barlow, CEO of Cyberbit, remarked, “In 2024, we have undertaken various strategic initiatives to better align our organization with crucial markets both in North America and globally. With the infusion of new capital and full North American ownership, we are now positioned to accelerate our growth and enter new markets, all while delivering top-tier, realistic training experiences that develop elite cybersecurity teams.”
Darren Battistoni, Managing Director at Charlesbank Capital Partners and Chairman of Cyberbit’s Board, shared his enthusiasm for this development, noting the growing need for advanced cybersecurity solutions in response to escalating cyber threats.
