Silicon Valley’s Kiteworks, a leader in secure content communication solutions, has successfully closed a $465 million funding round, propelling its valuation beyond $1 billion and cementing its status as a unicorn. This investment, led by Insight Partners and Sixth Street Growth, marks a significant boost for the company.

As part of this funding round, Eoin Duane and Peter Sobiloff from Insight Partners, alongside Alex Katz from Sixth Street Growth, will join Kiteworks’ board of directors.

Use of Funds

Kiteworks plans to channel this substantial investment into fortifying its position in secure data transfer and collaboration. The company holds the unique distinction of being FedRAMP-authorized to support a range of communication needs, including file sharing, managed file transfer, and email data communications, addressing extensive global compliance requirements.
