Securonix Appoints Kash Shaikh as New President and CEO

Securonix, Inc. has announced the appointment of Kash Shaikh as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Shaikh will also join the company’s Board of Directors.

Shaikh takes over from Nayaki Nayyar, who has decided to step down after steering Securonix towards profitable growth and enhancing its reputation for innovation with the introduction of Unified Defense SIEM and the Securonix EON – AI-Reinforced CyberOps Platform. Nayyar plans to shift her focus to public board roles.

With over 30 years of experience in driving business transformation and delivering cutting-edge technology solutions, Shaikh brings a wealth of expertise to Securonix. Most recently, he served as President and CEO of Virtana, specializing in hybrid-cloud infrastructure observability. His prior roles include Global Vice President and General Manager at Dell’s Enterprise Solutions Unit, as well as leadership positions at Ruckus Wireless, Hewlett Packard, Cisco, and Nortel Networks.

“Given Securonix’s established position as the SIEM provider of choice for over 1,000 leading global enterprises, the company is ideally situated for its next phase of growth. Our success depends on ongoing innovation and robust partnerships with our customers and allies. I am eager to apply my customer-focused approach and leadership to advance our mission of staying ahead of cyber threats,” Shaikh stated.
