Kyndryl, the foremost global provider of IT infrastructure services, has joined forces with Vodafone Business, a top-tier telecommunications entity offering a diverse suite of telecommunication services, including voice, broadband, and digital TV. Together, they have announced a significant enhancement to their partnership aimed at bolstering security and resilience for Vodafone’s financial sector clientele.
This expanded alliance signifies a pivotal advancement in their continued collaboration. Through this new agreement, Kyndryl will introduce advanced security protocols to help Vodafone’s clients comply with regulatory standards. These enhancements will cover a broad spectrum of services including endpoint protection for servers, workstations, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), as well as vulnerability assessments, proxy management, and web protection services. Kyndryl will be tasked with identifying and addressing vulnerabilities across client servers, virtual machines, network equipment, firewalls, and endpoint devices. The goal is to strengthen Vodafone customers’ digital defenses against emerging threats and minimize disruptions to business operations.
This announcement builds on the partnership initiated in 2018, reflecting the evolving nature of their joint efforts to address the specific needs of different industries, with a focus on infrastructure, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity.
The renewed collaboration highlights a shared commitment to innovation and excellence, with both companies aiming to set new standards in cybersecurity and lay a strong foundation for future growth and success.
Sascha Roeber, Head of Sales for Finance and Insurance at Vodafone Business, expressed enthusiasm about the expanded partnership, stating, “We are excited to deepen our collaboration with Kyndryl and enhance the security capabilities for our financial sector clients. By leveraging our combined expertise, we are well-positioned to offer comprehensive security solutions.”
